Create your own glass fused sushi set.
Glass fusing is the bonding of separate pieces of glass by high heat, administered in a kiln. It’s easy to learn the basics of glass fusing, it’s fun, and the possibilities are endless.
In this class you will learn intermediate glass fusing knowledge, such as working with cold glass sheets, remnants, frits to create a fused glass sushi set (one large plate, and one small plate for sauce). Couples will work together, challenging each other to design a piece that represents both identities while coming together to make a beautiful piece of art. You will also gain an in depth look at kiln working. Learned techniques include cutting straight lines, curved lines, and circles.
Note: One ticket ($100) admits one couple to attend class. Couples will be creating one sushi plate set, sharing the project.

Additional Information:
- This activity has a minimum number of guests required for it to run. While unlikely, it is possible that it will not reach the minimum. In that case, you will be notified that it has been canceled and provided the option to reschedule for the next available class.
- All fused glass projects must fire in the kiln overnight and may take up to two weeks for completion before being available for pick up. We are not responsible for projects after 90 days.
- A link to our studio waiver is provided in your confirmation email. Waiver must be completed to attend the class.
