Students will work from a precut kit of glass to create a seasonally themed stained glass project. Students will learn the traditional copper foil technique, including copper foiling, soldering, patina, and polishing their piece.

Discover the Art of Stained Glass in Boston, MA
During this three hour course, our experienced instructors will guide you through the creation of a beautiful floating geode stained glass panel! You will learn the historic steps of the American Copper Foil technique of stained glass. This technique dates back to the 1800s and was created by LC Tiffany to work with tiny pieces of glass to create intricate designs There will be a glass cutting demonstration at the beginning of class, though you will be working from a pre-cut kit of glass. Our instructors will be cheering you on the whole time as you learn the art of stained glass in Boston!
Class Includes:
- Instruction, Use of Tools, and Materials.
- Learned techniques include copper foiling, soldering, polishing, and patina.
Additional Information:
- This activity has a minimum number of guests required for it to run. While unlikely, it is possible that it will not reach the minimum. In that case, you will be notified that it has been canceled and provided the option to reschedule for the next available class.
- All fused glass projects must fire in the kiln overnight and may take up to two weeks for completion before being available for pick up. We are not responsible for projects after 90 days.
- A link to our studio waiver is provided in your confirmation email. Waiver must be completed to attend the class.
