INTRODUCTION TO MOSAICS CLASS

Piece Together a New Hobby with our Mosaic Glass Art Classes in Boston!

Join us as we explore the ancient art of mosaics. In this mosaic art class, students will work to embellish a picture frame with pre-cut glass and other materials such as tiles, penny rounds, and beads.

Wendy will challenge students to create a frame that they are proud of! They will learn how to use glass nippers to shape pre-cut pieces of glass. Using this technique, they will work to design a picture frame that they can keep or give as a gift. Who doesn’t have a photograph that could use a unique frame?

The glue will need to dry overnight before grouting. Students will return the following day for a detailed instruction of the grouting technique to complete their piece.

Additional Information:

• This activity has a minimum number of guests required for it to run. While unlikely, it is possible that it will not reach the minimum. In that case, you will be notified that it has been canceled and provided the option to reschedule for the next available class.
• A link to our studio waiver is provided in your confirmation email. Waiver must be completed to attend the class.

What To Bring:
