Learn to create a beautiful Mosaic Mirror!
During this 6-week session we’re going to explore the ancient technique of Mosaic art. You will create beautiful mosaic masterpieces using a variety of techniques and materials.
We’re going to start off easy using only mosaic tile nippers to shape precut pieces of glass. Your first ‘practice project’ will use these techniques to a picture frame.
In the following weeks you will learn how to grout the pieces and more advanced techniques of cutting. You will be able to use traditional mosaic pieces such as square tiles, penny rounds and beads, as well as stained glass. After a bit of practice, you will design and create a 12” X 12” mirror.

Additional Information:
- This activity has a minimum number of guests required for it to run. While unlikely, it is possible that it will not reach the minimum. In that case, you will be notified that it has been canceled and provided the option to reschedule for the next available class.
- All fused glass projects must fire in the kiln overnight and may take up to two weeks for completion before being available for pick up. We are not responsible for projects after 90 days.
- A link to our studio waiver is provided in your confirmation email. Waiver must be completed to attend the class.
